DESCRIPTION:Mission or church? Missiology or ecclesiology? Most of us pick 
 a side and defend it. Jesus wanted both. He sent his people out ("As the F
 ather has sent me\, I am sending you\," John 20:21) and he built his churc
 h (Matthew 16:18). We keep picking one.\n\nIn this solo episode\, Jeff Ree
 d gives digital missionaries three charges:\n\n1. Be humble. The Word come
 s before our ways\, so listen before you defend. Tradition is not the enem
 y\; putting tradition above the Word is.\n2. Be comfortable with disruptio
 n. The Pharisees nullified the Word by their tradition\, and the Sadducees
  knew neither the Scriptures nor the power of God. Mission broke out where
  the structure broke down: the scattered church of Acts 8\, and Peter answ
 ering Jerusalem in Acts 11\, "who was I to hinder the work of the Lord?"\n
 3. Be bold. Humility is not timidity. Disruption in method\, never in mess
 age. And don't leave the people you reach churchless.\n\nHumble enough to
