Rev. Nathan Webb is the founding pastor of Checkpoint Church, a fully online church he planted in 2020 for 'nerds, geeks and gamers.' An ordained provisional elder in the Western North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church, Webb leads community through Twitch livestreams, Discord, and YouTube, producing over 125 'nerdy sermons' drawing on anime, video games, and pop culture. He also writes at Pixel & Pulpit on the intersection of faith and nerd culture.
