Scattered
The Fam
The study keeps going all week
Scattered meets live once a week. In between, the conversation carries on in the Fam, on Discord and on WhatsApp. Pick the room that fits how you talk, or join both.
Two rooms, one study
Scattered on Discord
Real time
For when you want to talk it through as it happens. The study has its own channel, and the rest of the Fam is one server away.
- #scattered is where the study is talked about all week.
- Each day's devotional posts in the devotionals channel at 7 AM Eastern, Monday to Saturday.
- The live sessions are in the server's Events tab, Tuesdays at 5:00 PM Eastern.
- Link Discord from your HEAR Journal Profile and tick the daily devotional, and Cairn, our Ai, sends it by DM each morning at the hour you pick.
- Linked your HEAR Journal? Send NOTE and a few words, and they're saved to your journal as today's note.
Scattered on WhatsApp
At your pace
The global room. WhatsApp is how much of the world messages, so here the conversation crosses time zones: people around the world reading the same passage this week, on the phone they already carry.
- A worldwide conversation: people in different countries and time zones, connected through the same study.
- Message READ to Cairn, our Ai, any day, and that day's devotional comes back.
- Linked your HEAR Journal? Send NOTE and a few words, and they're saved to your journal as today's note.
- The Fam's WhatsApp group: slower, deeper threads for folks who don't live in Discord.
- Same family as Discord, different pace.
Your week in the Fam
-
Monday to Saturday
A devotional a day
A short reading on the week's passage. It posts in Discord at 7 AM Eastern, comes by DM if you've turned it on in your journal Profile, or message READ to Cairn on WhatsApp.
-
Saturday
Your HEAR journal
Saturday's devotional brings you back to the whole passage to write the week's HEAR: highlight, explain, apply, respond.

Tuesday · 5:00 PM ET
Live, togetherOptional
Join the session live on Twitch if you can, and be part of the chat. It's optional: the replay and the chat are on the session page whenever you're ready.
Scattered is one room in a bigger house
